Property Hunter (the "Service") is operated by Apex Technologies ("Apex Technologies", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. Name, email address, and (if you sign in with Google) the basic profile information Google shares with us.
- Billing information. When you subscribe, our payment processor collects the payment details needed to process your subscription. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.
- Product data. The search criteria, saved deals, notes, and preferences you create inside the Service.
- Usage analytics. Pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device information, and event timestamps. Used to operate and improve the Service.
- Cookies and similar technologies. Session cookies to keep you signed in and first-party analytics cookies to measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To authenticate you and secure your account.
- To process subscriptions and send billing-related emails.
- To send transactional messages (deal alerts, receipts, account notices).
- To respond to support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues.
3. Third-party processors
We use the following service providers to operate Property Hunter. Each processes limited data on our behalf under their own terms.
- Supabase — application database, authentication, and file storage.
- Google (OAuth) — optional sign-in with your Google account.
- RentCast — property and rent data used to underwrite listings.
- Resend — delivery of transactional email (alerts, receipts, support).
- Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions (used only when subscription billing is enabled).
4. Sharing of information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with the processors listed above, with law enforcement or regulators when required by law, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case you will be notified).
5. Data retention
We retain account and product data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Backups are rotated on a regular schedule.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and audit logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security; you use the Service at your own risk.
7. Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, or export the account information you have provided.
- Turn off email alerts from the Defaults page inside the app.
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing us through the contact page. We will confirm and complete the request within a reasonable time, subject to any legal retention obligations.
8. International users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country you consent to your information being processed in the United States.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date.
